The scheme concerns the creation of an extension and rooftop extension to the building located at 45 rue des Bordeaux in Charenton-le-Pont, with a view to incorporating a scheme comprising 2000 m² of housing units, in part above the RATP rectifier substation.

The scenario adopted is based on a dissociated circulation core (separate staircase and lift) in order to reduce circulation areas and achieve maximum living space. All circulation areas are external and the floors are served by enclosed passageways that overlook the plot’s courtyard.
