A 7-storey office building on a garden level and a basement car park level.
The building’s architectural concept lies primarily in the central void in the building, enabling the provision of successive cantilevered terraces and showcasing a “bridge building” with a 40-metre span.
The basement was built with soldier pile and lagging walls with tie beams, with a vibration break due to the proximity of the railway tracks.
The building frame is of reinforced concrete, except for the bridge building, which consists of three steel lattice girders and composite floors.
This “steel” solution for the structure enabled the contractor to avoid massive shoring and save time.
