The Kisharon Charitable Trust is redeveloping and expanding the Kisharon Day School in North West London. The current school site is being extended to allow for the enlargement of the school and requires the demolition of part of a listed building. The new premises caters for up to 80 children between the ages of 4 and 19 with a wide range of educational needs, from moderate learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders to more severe, profound learning difficulties.
The new development is comprised of 3 storeys with an additional single storey basement containing a hydrotherapy swimming pool. The building is primarily of reinforced concrete with piled walls and bearing piles forming the basement and foundations.
The project is being delivered in BIM using Revit 2016.
