The project sees the demolition of the existing industrial space and its replacement with a 9-storey residential building with restaurants and cafes on the ground floor.
The building is primarily a concrete frame with insitu flat slabs and a mixture of precast and insitu walls and columns. The building is founded on a 500mm thick reinforced concrete raft with ground improvement works untaken to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. Walkways and balconies are largely supported by steel columns and beams, fixed back to the concrete frame.
