Terrell is in charge of the structural design of the Sports Hub of Excellence within the Houlgate Sports Centre in the framework of the 2024 Olympic Games.

The project includes a football pitch, an indoor synthetic pitch, a third grass training area and an archery area.

The tensioned canvas roof above the synthetic pitch, with a span of 80 m and a height of 12 m, rests on inclined metal tubular arches held in place by pre-tensioned cables and supported by timber cross-shaped columns.

The design study of this complex structure, requiring second-order calculations as well as a quest for the optimal shape for the canvas, was possible by virtue of the various Grasshopper modules in Rhino.
