Located within the Carré 92 business park, the Cristal project was the largest real estate construction operation under way in the Paris region in 2011. Designed as an island site, developed in the form of 9 buildings located around the periphery and oriented towards a central landscaped garden incorporating pedestrian circulations, terraces and esplanades, the Cristal project comprises almost 87,500 m² net internal area intended to accommodate Thalès Communications’ personnel in 2012.
All six new office buildings, built on a two-storey podium incorporating common infrastructure, will be awarded “BBC” low-energy building certification. Plans also include the rehabilitation of 2 buildings that will be linked by an extension in order to house the staff restaurant. The project also incorporates a reception and conference building and a multi-storey car park.
The Cristal project is structured, in its entirety, around a master plan and buildings whose column-beam structure and type of technical equipment enable short construction times, coupled with flexible office spaces.
