The project forms part of the “Esplanade of Religions” project, a concept that is the only one of its kind in the world. This esplanade is home to several temples of different religious faiths, all located in close proximity to each other. The temple is divided into three levels: the ground floor and the first floor, incorporated into the plinth, are dedicated to the functions of the cultural centre (classrooms, sports hall, offices, etc.). The building complies with RT2012 regulations. The electricity production equipment, housing the supply substation, the 1000 kVA HV/LV transformer substation and the low voltage distribution board room, are grouped together on the ground floor. As the site is served by a district heating network using biomass as primary energy, a 400 kW substation is planned in the basement. Cooling needs are covered by chilled water production by electric units with scroll compressors and air cooling, with a total cooling capacity of 240 kW. The handling of the assembly hall required particular attention with low-speed air distribution generating little air movement for greater comfort and extraction shared with the mechanical smoke extraction.
