Rehabilitation of 6 existing buildings on the Bordeaux university campus by the creation of double-skin glazed facades on the long elevations. The facades thus created are supported by a galvanised steel frame. The edge-to-edge tempered glazing is retained at top and bottom by full-length aluminium profiles and by two intermediate fasteners on the free vertical edges. Servo-controlled ventilation louvres are installed at top and bottom to regulate the buildings’ temperature.
