The Pontoise swimming pool was built in 1933. It is one of four iconic Parisian pools in the Art Deco style designed by the architect Lucien POLLET, the others being the Molitor swimming pool, the La Jonquière swimming pool (demolished) and the Pailleron swimming pool. The purpose of the project is to modernise the air handling and renovate the glass roof in compliance with heritage constraints, the Pontoise swimming pool being listed in the supplementary schedule of historic monuments.
