Extension de la Cour de Justice de l'Union Europenne
Luxembourg
This involves the extension of the existing Court of Justice by extension of the gallery, the creation of a 4-storey podium including a basement level, and a 116 m high tower whose facades evoke those of the existing two towers and main building.
The new tower must meet high thermal requirements related to the energy performance classification of Luxembourg’s public buildings: the curtain walls are therefore ventilated double-skin with triple glazing on the inner skin in order to ensure the required insulation performance.
