Eco campus in Nanterre is an ambitious project of more than 100,000 m² located on the site of the former Seine paper mills. Distributed across fifteen six- and seven-storey buildings connected by walkways and built in a large landscaped park, this project is intended to be constructed primarily with timber frames.
The project is the opportunity, for the first time in France, to develop the concept of timber construction on a large scale. It will enable the design of a reproducible construction system, and validation of the relevance of the integrated Structure + Envelope concept.
