C1 TOWER : THE SITE HAS BEGUN
Highlighted on the cover of the December edition of the « Les Cahiers Techniques du Bâtiment », a particularly elegant and spectacular building by the agency IF Architecture in Toulouse (JM Pettes architect): the headquarters of the Communauté de Communes Sidobre-Val d’Agout in the commune of Le Bez in The Tarn (81).
The structural concept (steel) was designed and developed by the Terrell Toulouse team.
The building was designed and optimized to obtain a reduced floor and roof edge thicknesses so that the interior space remains as open as possible.
The combined talents of the architect and the Terrell team, has enabled such an architectural and technical success for this building which was designed in spired by a well-known local landscape feature “the Peyro Clavado”, an enormous granite rock balanced on a miniscule base.

SITE WORK UNDERWAY ON GALLIÉNI I TOWER, BAGNOLET
This unusual shaped structure called the «Pentacube» is project for which Terrell Toulouse carried out the calculations and assembly ex-gratia. The complex structure, served as a support for the ENSA stand at a salon in Toulouse dedicated to timber framed houses back in October 2008. It is an innovative reversible geometrical wooden structure with a diametre of 8 metres which shelters another flooring structure made from cardboard. The network of 5 interlinked cubes based on the «Modulor» proportion concept, reveals a cluster of multidirectional proportions, arranging triangles, squares and pentagons in relation to each other according to Le Corbusier’s famous Fibonacci pattern. The shape was designed by the architect Demolombe.

TERRELL GROUP FINISHES ITS LATEST TOWER
Since the T1 Tower project first began back in 2003, the list of High Rise buildings designed by Terrell has grown taller and taller. Today the group is working on a dozen of towers (Ava, C1, Ariane, Motor City, Eileen House, Mozart, Carpe Diem, Galliéni, La Tower, etc...) but T1 is the first to have been delivered to the client and to stand out in the Paris business area skyline thanks to it’s curved profile designed by Architects Valode et Pistre and its steel structure cap that makes the tower disappear progressively into the clouds. A few figures: 185 m high, 38 storeys of superstructure and 4 underground levels, 70.000 m² office space, 36 months of construction (1 storey built in just 4 days thanks to a slip-form formwork system, the prefabricated reinforced concrete and the use of an extra powerful pump for the C80 concrete. Total cost: 157 M€ HT for 5 000 work stations. Congratulations to the whole team who have broken the ground in a long series of prestigious projects.
